holy week antics (sunday)

We were supposed to be out in the beach, my family and me. But since all the beaches were full and crawling with people, my father decided to stay home. As for me and my friends (who also wanted to go to the beach with us), we decided to go to Inambakan in Antequera instead.

holy week antics (saturday)

I was surprised at how most people in Tagbilaran have changed in celebrating their Holy Week. Usually, for the past years, Holy Weeks are solemn and rest days. Everyone stays at home to reflect, pray or whatever. This year however, people were out enjoying what little free time they could have - out in the beaches, shopping malls and the streets.

One of the best things about Tagbilaran is that it is the capital of Bohol - the newest top destination in the country today. Being the gateway to Bohol, Tagbilaran also boasts of being the tourism hub in the province.

Ware are only a few minutes ride away to every destination in Bohol! Now that sure is something to cheer about. :)

Tagbilaran in a Different Hue

Seems like this blog is gonna be taking a different turn after being left out in hibernation for the past couple years or so. I have now taken the liberty of renaming it "Tagbilaran in Different Hues" in an attempt to somehow document life in Tagbilaran through words and pictures -- somehow, no mater how roughshod.

So, kids, stay tuned for more updates and photos. I hope this will be a very enjoyable journey as always. Thanks.

After almost 2 years...

after almost 2 years in a the hibernation chamber, i once again try to step back into the reality of the world i once knew. my feet shiver at every step still lucidly remembering the cold winter of isolation. the past, though passed, still keep on haunting my present and quite probably the future. i wonder when this will end.
